Memorial Day weekend

I always look forward to Memorial Day as the kickoff to summer! On Saturday I was occupied feeding Harvey first thing in the morning, so Millie and Max got their own coloring stuff out and kept themselves busy. So cute.

Heidi and James invited us to the Morris home to celebrate Wesley's birthday! We visited and swam and ate yummy fajitas.

Uncle Tim and Aunt Lauren were there. We're so glad they're here for the summer!

Harvey tried eating baby food from a pouch and he enjoyed it, but it was very messy.

Max wanted his picture taken with Wes and his cake.

Happy birthday, Wessy dude!

While we were there, Max pooped in the toilet for the first time!! Yay! So on our way home, we stopped at the store and got his much talked about and anticipated reward - a DinoTrux. He kept saying, "I'm so proud of me!" and we were too.

Harvey looked especially handsome that Sunday. I finally got him a white shirt that fits and can button around his chunky neck, so now he can wear a bowtie!

Sunday naps are the best.

We told the kids about their summer reading incentives and they were so excited to get started right away.

Max is so sweet with Harvey. He genuinely loves playing with him! I can't wait to watch them be best buds and grow up together.

Monday was pretty chill. The weather was a little iffy so we didn't swim, but we enjoyed a delicious lunch and fun at Gigi and Poppy's house.

The big kids got to go on a fun bike ride with Tyler and Poppy.

Hooray for summer!
