Millie asked to make valentines for "everyone she loves" this year. The list was long! She has been wanting to get a new set of paints for a while, so we decided to try wax-resist art. I drew hearts with white crayon and she painted over them. Then she cut them out, glued them to cards, and added stickers and drawings. It was quite the process with the number of cards she wanted to make. Took a few days of nap time to finish, but she did it!
Nothing like a good mess!
Some of my favorites: the "heart balloons" and the way she insisted on writing Max's name on every card.
