Millie was so excited for field day at school! It happened to be on a Tuesday while I was teaching preschool. Luckily Tyler was able to go volunteer at field day and watch her do her thing. Most of these pictures are actually from the mother of the little boy who was Millie's partner! So nice of her to share them. I remember having field day at school and it's crazy that Millie is old enough for this stuff!

Another day, another park
We finally checked out the new park in the neighborhood near us. The boys and I actually found it on accident one day and ended up playing for quite a while. I took a bunch of pictures so we could show Millie how cool it was! It's such a fun park.
We took Millie there a day or two later and then decided we had to go back again and take Dad this time. It was a fun FHE activity.
Max actually requested 3 different pictures from on top of these logs. He just kills me with cuteness sometimes!

End of soccer
Soccer is officially over! We kind of limped our way through the end of the season haha. Millie was so excited she finally got to be the goalie in the last game.
Such a fun and cute team of Tigers!
One last walk through the "forest"
Cheering on Max at his last game.
Unfortunately we didn't make it to Max's end-of-season party but we did get to Millie's. The kids enjoyed swimming at the coach's complex pool and they were all super excited about their trophies. Another season in the books!

Harvey mischief
Our Harvey man is still keeping us on our toes. I don't think I've truly understood what people mean when they talk about chasing kids until this guy!
He can get himself soaking wet with the tiniest puddle,
and drive everyone in Kohl's crazy. Actually, that was all 3 of them. Tyler and I just kept looking at each other with wide eyes - "Who are these kids??" But they were cracking us up. Love their craziness, most of the time.
Sometimes he reaches maximum craziness at church. I snapped this when he was flirting with someone in a row behind us. Happens fairly often.
Same day, Tyler left him in nursery because he had to teach a class (Harvey isn't official in nursery for another week) and after screaming for 5 minutes, he fell asleep and slept for the rest of church! There was a whole crew of kids in there singing and playing around him and he just laid there. Hilarious.
Caught him eating chalk once... the consequence for that one is pretty natural haha.
His favorite thing to do in the garage is grab a ball and throw it down the driveway and into the street. He'll also send bikes or scooters down, sometimes following them down himself!
This popped up on a Facebook memory recently and I was reminded that Harvey isn't the only one who was a climber! Though Harvey is for sure more daring, Millie was adventurous too.
But he just kills us with cuteness. I love to watch him use utensils to feed himself, or do anything for that matter.
And all mischief is forgiven in the brief moments he holds still and is so sweet, like this moment at gymnastics when he watched Max doing backward rolls. I love those thighs, and chubby hands, and cheeks, and lips, okay just everything.

Bike riding
Millie has been working hard on learning to ride her bike. Sometimes willingly, sometimes not so much. Since the balance bike had worked so well for Max, we took the pedals off of Millie's bike and had her ride it like that for a few weeks. It really helped her learn to balance. In fact, I threw away the training wheels for both the kids' bikes. No need for them when this works so much better! One day we were out practicing and Millie announced that she was ready to put the pedals back on. And she totally did it! Picked it up so quickly after that. We are so proud of her.
Since then, all the big kids want to do is ride their bikes. It is everyone's first request after school. We took the bikes to Millie's school for an FHE activity and they had fun racing around the track.
When we're riding around the neighborhood, I put Harvey in the bike trailer and we all ride together! That's the only way I can keep up with them anymore haha.
We've even been able to go with Daddy a few times and I'm pretty sure the first time was one of our family's happiest memories. We love cruising around together.
And now every time we go into the garage Harvey either gets his trike or climbs into the bike trailer, hoping for a ride! We all love riding bikes!
