Little things January

Alternate title: a photo dump of the rest of January because I haven’t been as good about consistently blogging as I intended!

The kids found a show on Netflix called “Floor is Lava” and have loved playing it around the house. They got real creative one Sunday and made a course for their LEGO people to do. Tyler was being a great commentator and cracking us all up.

These three love to snuggle on the couch together. It always involves removing a couch cushion so they can all fit and it is always super cute!

Sometimes after all the preschool kids leave Hazel likes to sit on the porch a little longer.

A little snap Hazel took while playing games with family one night.

Super snuggly after a nap. Bed head and all. I love this girl!

Harvey was very excited to start soccer for the first time. Leading up to it we played a lot in the backyard and Tyler taught him a cool move, where you kneel/lunge to block. Pretty cute to watch him do it. Harvey loves to dive for the ball and is not timid about it!

Harvey got to go to a fun birthday party for his buddy Bronson. It was chilly but these kids had so much fun! We just love our ward.

Tyler has had some buddies joining him for workouts lately. It’s pretty cute!

Speaking of working out, High Fitness has been so fun. I got to teach a class for a Relief Society activity at church and have had more people coming to my Saturday class lately which makes it such a party.

Ending January with some random super cuteness!

November little things

 Some brother piggybacking.

Millie had a fun play date with some friends.

Just lookin’ cute before church!

Tyler and I had our annual checkups, COVID style.

Hazel is finally big enough for some adorable dresses that Gigi made for Aunt Heidi when she was little!

Millie and Max were having a hard time getting along so I sent them to the front yard to trim some weeds with scissors. It kept them b use for a little while!

While making Harvey’s birthday cupcakes, Hazel somehow got a hold of the sprinkles and shook them all over the couch and rug! You can’t really see in the picture below but they were everywhere. I vacuumed several times and was still finding them for a while.

We started to have some cooler weather and Harvey rocked the layered look!

Cute boys at the bus stop.

Doin’ a little scripture study.

One more pic of Hazel in that cute dress.

The pigtail sisters.

I got to have a bike ride with the red power ranger!

When Hazel throws a fit it involves her lying on the floor. She doesn’t really scream, just lies down. It’s so funny.

We had a picnic with my siblings and cousins that live in Houston. It was fun to see everyone and a beautiful day!

Little things October

Just two cuties chillin’ in the backyard.

Crazy hair day at school!

It’s hard to be too crazy when you’re a boy with a fresh haircut, but we did our best haha.

Max drew this at school and I thought it was so cute and also sad that his self-portrait included a mask!

Harvey was ready to leave the park and I guess I wasn’t going at a pace he liked, because he picked up my bag and walked toward the car without me.

I spent every Sunday in October going early and staying after church, helping to record kids’ parts for our virtual Primary program. It turned out great!

We had a fun murder mystery dinner at the Webb’s house. I’d never done one of those before and it was a great time!

Our character names were Imotta Bounds (tennis player) and Jinn Slinger (bartender).

I tried something new and got certified to teach High Fitness!

Held my first class mid-October and it was so fun. I’ve been teaching most Saturday mornings at a nearby park.

Love this little bookworm!

Bus stop crew. It has been so fun to have Tyler working from home and he gets to join us out at the bus stop a lot.

Ward Halloween party. It was different than years past but still fun!

Sweet Max trying to read to Hazel - she is so wiggly.

Millie started swim team and Harvey liked trying on her gear on dry land.

August little things

The kids love playing tag with Tyler in the backyard after dinner. One night we caught sight of a rainbow!

Monka came by to drop something off one day and she and Millie were matching this time. So funny!

Went to get Hazel after a nap and found her with a wet bed and wearing no diaper!! Yikes.

Anniversary date, 2020 style.

11 years!

It’s picture-worth when Harvey gets on the tube! He doesn’t do that often.

Hazel always wants to hold the flag.

Group date to a local restaurant that Heidi and James recommended to us.

Millie desperately needed a haircut before school started. I don’t know why but she looked so grown up sitting in the chair.

Turned the front room into a preschool room again. That definitely wasn’t in the plans but what about 2020 was in the plans for anyone??

First day back at church since March! Church at home was wonderful and we were so excited to see our ward family again.

Snuggly girls.

Met the Andersen crew at the pool one evening.

We attempted a long bike ride and someone got a little tired. It was one of those moments where you feel so stuck. I couldn’t leave anyone behind obviously, but staying there wasn’t going to fix anything either and one child was refusing to keep going. It took some convincing but we eventually made it home haha.

Just chillin’.

The big kids got to have a sleepover with Gigi and Poppy so we went out with Heidi and James with the little girls. Heidi and I both ended up wrestling with the girls towards the end of the meal!

Play date with Bron. It’d been way too long since we had a friend play date! I need to be better about setting those up.

Greek yogurt monster!
