General Conference weekend, Oct. 2020 edition

I was not a great picture taker this Conference weekend! But we so enjoyed our time with family, listening to our church leaders. I have especially looked forward to the last two conferences, with all that is going on in the world. So many wonderful talks were shared.

We spent Saturday with the Webbs and Westons, and Sunday we went to Gigi and Poppy’s house. Gigi was so sweet and thoughtful and had everything prepared and ready to go for a great conference listening experience!

Unrelated, but it was on the same day so we’ll put it here - we went for a walk and discovered that Hazel loves to hang. The girl is unusually strong!

General Conference Weekend, Oct 2019 edition

Saturday started off with a golf lesson for Millie! She took lessons for several weeks and really liked it.

The setup for the Saturday sessions. The big kids had their notes and coloring supplies all ready to go!

Rode around the lake by a park and hit the splash pad between sessions.

Max’s handwriting and drawings were melting me all weekend!

Tyler and Poppy took the big kids to a high school football game Saturday night.

Hazel and I watched the women’s session with Gigi at her house.

We went to Gigi and Poppy’s again for the Sunday sessions! The kids did well taking their notes and we all took turns with Hazel.

We are grateful for continuing revelation, and for a prophet who leads us!

General Conference Weekend, April 2019 edition

We enjoyed a great conference weekend. The kids took notes on every talk to earn a prize from Monka, and it really kept them engaged and trying to listen. It was awesome.

Tyler mowed the lawn between sessions on Saturday and had an eager little helper.

I think it was Max who brought me this sweet bouquet.

These kids are so lucky to have a wonderful dad who leads them so well! I love this picture.

Three generations of Juergens men at the Priesthood session that night.

We went to Gigi and Poppy's house on Sunday. It rained a good part of the day.

The boys kept checking on their captive lizard (in the bin outside the door) and watching the rain.

Gigi got cute baskets and goodies for the kids, and Poppy hid some Easter eggs for them to find!

I was massaging Tyler's shoulders for a minute and Harvey must have noticed. He came up behind me and attempted to massage my neck, asking me, "Does that feel good, Mom?"

Then it became a family massage train! Pretty funny. It was a great weekend.

General Conference Weekend, Oct. 2018 edition

Our weekend fun began Friday night with The (2nd Annual) Haunting Games. It got a little more intense this year, with one of our teammates having to get in a pool to find a clue! But it was a really fun night. And we totally would have won, were it not for factors outside of our control. Go Purple People Eaters.

Harvey was up bright and early, ready to listen to Conference as long as he had some juice. That boy is a camel.

We watched the Saturday sessions with Gigi and Poppy and it was so nice and relaxing. Lots of wonderful things announced and talks given.

I went to the Stake Center for the Women's Session that evening. Pretty cool to have that be a part of conference weekend! Also pretty cool that I got to be there with my mother-in-law, who I'm now realizing was also with her mother-in-law haha.

We watched the Sunday sessions at Monka and Ampa's house, with Tim and Lauren and the Webb crew.

Harvey was highly entertained by the cars, as always.

It is a wonderful time to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! I'm so grateful for our living prophet and that he speaks to the church for the Lord. There are some amazing changes going on and it's all so exciting!

General Conference Weekend, April 2018 edition

A crazy amount of pictures for a crazy fun weekend! We started it off with soccer games for Millie and Max. Max needed a lot of encouragement to stay on the field for some reason, so Tyler was a champ and stayed with him out there.

Millie and Poppy picked flowers between games.

Harvey has a pretty good life - a shaded seat with access to all the snacks.

I was chasing Harvey at one point and turned around and was just overwhelmed with love and gratitude for our family and that we get to live close to so many of them. Love them all so much.

We had quite the crew there, including Heidi, James, and Wes who aren't pictured here. Afterwards Millie was asking why everyone had come, saying it was "just a soccer game." We talked about the fact that they weren't there for soccer, but to show love and support for her and Max. There's a lot of things people can do on a Saturday morning, and they were all so nice to come spend that time with us. They're very blessed kids.

After soccer we were off to Gigi and Poppy's house for swimming, burgers, and conference watching!

Gigi got the kids swimsuits and they looked adorable!

Hunting for eggs.

We also took Max out for his very first tennis lesson! The kid took to it like a fish to water, which made my heart SO happy. He was so excited and motivated! Can't wait to take him out there again.

Sunday morning we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house. The Webb's were there so the kids were excited for some cousin time. We ate delicious food, watched conference, and hunted for more eggs.

Keeping little hands busy so their minds can relax and listen.

All that pat-a-cake tired us both out, apparently! Love my sweet boy.

Conference weekend is the best!
