Beginning of May

I tried to do some deep cleaning before baby girl was born and I had an adorable little helper! I let him pretend mop the walls all he wanted haha.

Little man, giant umbrella.

Millie and I got pedicures for Mother's Day and it was so fun! She looked so little in those big chairs. We had a great time together and it was nice to have my toes done when reaching them was really difficult.

The zipper on the trampoline completely came off so for a little while the kids were not allowed to jump unless someone was out there in case of an accident. I spent a lot of time standing at that opening.

This cute boy was completely worn out after a swim at Gigi's.

Max and Nana playing slap jack. I love that our kids know several of their great-grandparents!

Snuggle buddy.

Baby girl and I were spoiled at a shower with some of our friends in the ward. Yummy pizza, good friends, and cute baby stuff! It was a good day.

Birthday partying

There have been an unusual number of birthday parties lately. We've been having 2 per weekend for the last month or so! I guess that's what happens as the kids are getting older and have more friends haha. Harvey had fun figuring out T-ball at one party all the kids were invited to.

The birthday boy wanted to smash his face in the cake but needed a little help from his mom!

The whole family got to go to the birthday party of a little girl whose mom I used to visit teach. She turned 1 and had one of the most beautiful parties I've ever seen!

Max got to go to a party by himself (well, with me) and enjoyed the food more than anything else! That's our boy!

And we had fun celebrating Nana's birthday a bit early this year. Botz planned a fun surprise for her and we all got to share memories and things we love about Nana. We love her so much!

End of soccer

Soccer is officially over! We kind of limped our way through the end of the season haha. Millie was so excited she finally got to be the goalie in the last game.

Such a fun and cute team of Tigers!

One last walk through the "forest"

Cheering on Max at his last game.

Unfortunately we didn't make it to Max's end-of-season party but we did get to Millie's. The kids enjoyed swimming at the coach's complex pool and they were all super excited about their trophies. Another season in the books!

Wedding Date

Tyler and I got to go to the wedding of a family friend at the beginning of November. The ceremony was beautiful! Honestly some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard, and just a very sweet wedding. The reception was held in a tent in the groom's backyard, and it was incredible. This was their plan B after Hurricane Harvey flooded their original venue. Sure didn't look second choice to me! Seriously every detail was gorgeous. We had fun with Tyler's parents and Heidi and James there too.

Seriously, the flowers were everywhere and so pretty! We were all afraid to walk on this beautiful setup on the ground.

We ate a delicious and fancy dinner and enjoyed celebrating the happy couple.

The groom is big into fireworks and they put on the best firework show I've ever seen. It put Stadium of Fire to shame!

Lots of good photo ops with all the beauty there. We left before getting a group pic with the family but I think the photographers took a few so I'll add them in once we get those. It was such a fun night!

Fall/Halloween Fun

Tyler and I went to a fun group date - The Haunting Games! We were divided into teams and sent to solve clues and find the locations of the ingredients we needed for a witches brew. We were team yellow and had lots of fun.

As we were pulled over on the side of the road doing a puzzle, someone pulled up in their car and asked if we needed any help. I guess we did look like a crew of emergency personnel in our reflecting vests! It was so funny.

Not standing out at all.

Tyler was asked to present the trophies to the winning team and he just loves that stuff. (NOT! But that gave us a pretty good clue as to who the hosting witches were haha)

Team Yellow! Thanks Batilda and Minerva for a fun time, whoever you are!

Next up was the Fall Festival at the elementary school. Tyler was at a work event and we were super glad to have Grandma join us! I'll let the pictures speak for themselves here.

And of course when Grandma asked them for ideas of things they might like for Christmas they were happy to look around online with her.

The kids and I made a ghost town one Saturday. We used old cereal boxes for the buildings, and rocks for the ghosts! Thanks to Made Everyday for the idea.

Max got into the spirit of things.

I laughed so hard when I saw Millie's picture of her "at pukin pach." I guess not everyone loves pumpkin patches!

And this cute boy had fun with candy corns in preschool.
