We played that ridiculous game where you try to talk with these contraptions in your mouth. I don't even remember what it's called. We laughed so hard but it was also super frustrating to not be able to speak!
Dad treated the kids to a cookie when we were randomly at the mall one Saturday.
Pretty cute post-swim caravan!
We're still enjoying our sunsets.
On Flag Day we read a book we'd borrowed from the library that totally inspired Millie. The book was called "Long May She Wave" in case anyone is interested, I'd totally recommend it. It used lyrics from the Star Spangled Banner and talked about a family of flag makers and their experience making a flag for Fort McHenry. Anyway, Millie ran and grabbed a white shirt and asked for the fabric markers and whipped her own flag shirt. She's excited to also wear it for the 4th of July.
She is proud of her shirt and I am proud of her!
She doesn't ride her scooter a ton these days, but when she does she always says how she's too big for it now. Don't grow up, Millie!
We joined a gym! A new Lifetime Athletic was built just a couple minutes down the road from us and Tyler knows someone who works there who got us a good deal so we jumped on it. I haven't done a gym of any kind since being in Utah - it's so great! Here I am, fresh out of the pool after swimming laps on my first time there. Not looking glamorous but super excited.
The kids get to come with me and were very excited about the t-shirts they were given. They like to wear them to bed and match each other.
It's nice to be able to swim even when it's thundering outside!
And I am loving the classes. Gives me a nice variety and I'm able to meet friends there and do classes with them.
We had a cute crew at our house on Friday, in and out of the dinosaur slide and house and enjoying otter pops.
They also had pretend Primary and sang for a good hour! That's when you know your mom is the chorister haha.
