School wrapped up for Millie on the first day of June, but the end of the year is never as simple as that! Luckily for this year we just had one kid in school with one little program. Tyler and I went to her Kindergarten Recognition and loved seeing Millie shine. Just look at all those cute kindergarteners! This was actually just half of them. It's a big school. Also all the parents with their phones out recording hahaha.
The kids sang their little hearts out, Millie included. See her down in the first row with that awesome fist pump? Love her enthusiasm. She'd been singing the songs at home for several weeks leading up to that and couldn't wait for us to hear the whole thing.
All the kids got to "walk across the stage" and shake the hand of the principal and vice principal.
And then, because the school knows what the people want, they had a little photo op for each class to go crazy with.
Millie sure loved her teacher! Thanks Mrs. B!
So much respect for people who choose to wrangle this many crazy kids every day.
Remember this cute crew from the beginning of the year?
Oh the things you learn in school, like peace signs. Haha
So proud of our girl!
Millie got to come home with us afterward. She sure loves her dad.
June 1 was the last day! Finally!
I asked for a "hooray, school's out" pose and instead got a "oh no, here comes the bus" pose. Pretty funny.
Sharon grabbed this pic for me as they were hopping off the bus for the last time this year! Look at that excitement!
And we got to join the annual end-of-the-year water balloon fight. My kids hadn't really done that before and had fun figuring it out.
Turned into all around water fun!
It's been a great year. We're so excited for summer!
