More Hazel

You can just expect a post of just Hazel pics pretty often here. But this one is actually going to start with a picture of Millie. As I pull out clothes for Hazel that Millie wore, I can’t help but find pictures of Millie in them and compare!

I even made Tyler hold Hazel the same way. He is a good sport.

Love that little bum sticking up in the air! And the fact that we’re 4/4 for tummy sleeping babies. Once they learn to roll there’s just no keeping them on their backs.

Stuck under a sleeping Harvey and a happy Hazel. Didn’t mind it at all.

Spit up down the shirt was not ideal, but on the bright side it was right before I left the house instead of right after!

Harvey didn’t nap a lot over the summer but we tried hard to establish quiet/nap time again once school started. Sometimes he fought it and then lost later haha.

We tried a new park and splash pad and it was so fun!

4 months old and sweet as ever!

When Tyler shaves he comes out as Santa Clause and lets the kids tell him their Christmas wishes. 

We’re so glad when Dad comes home!

The bus stop is a happening place. The kids went through a phase of playing tag, then red light, green light. 

Folding laundry and finding treasures in Max’s pockets, like sticks and applesauce pouch caps.

A new park near us has a lake and trail around it that we occasionally bike/scooter around. The kids discovered that every so often there’s a stone staircase (leading to nothing really). But of course we then had to go up every single one.

Max also requested a picture atop each staircase, but I capped it at two. 

Harvey has really come into the role of big brother so well. He loves Hazel and is super sweet to her!

We talked about having Jesus Christ as the foundation of our testimonies one night, and Millie drew this afterward. So sweet.

We took a scooter ride one nice evening. I love those long shadows.

We got to have the Webb kids with us one Saturday after a tropical storm came through and flooded the Weston’s old house in Beaumont. Andrew, Tyler, Tim, and Kenny worked on it together that day so we got the kids at our house! Tried out a new park nearby that was a big hit.

Basically we were park-hopping.

Just following the kids inside after they got home from school, feeling super grateful for them and that I get to be here with them. Also for Millie’s fashion sense!

Sept photo dump 1

I’m trying to play catch up on my blog here, and September was pretty uneventful. So instead of giving things their own posts like they may deserve, these photo dumps and my limited memories will have to suffice!

A nice older gentleman at the store noticed Harvey looking at the candy by the checkout counter. He asked me if he could buy Harvey one and said he brings an extra dollar or two in cash when he goes to the store for just such occasions. It was so sweet and totally made Harvey’s day. 

For a while Hazel fit perfectly to hold facing out like this, which meant lots of unintentional texts from me as she touched my watch a lot! Pretty funny.

Hazel never really got to wear the hat that went with this cute outfit, so I took a pic before storing both away. She just looks like the cutest little elf.

If you look out the window on the right of this pic you’ll see a cat perched under our bushes. This cat would sit under there on hot afternoons and the kids thought he liked to listen to them practice the piano. 

Found these stuffed animals in a hug, arranged by sweet Max.

Pardon the nasty foot picture. I fractured my pinky toe one night while walking with a laundry basket in my arms. Didn’t see how close I was to Hazel’s pack and play in our room and just walked my little toe right into it! Ouch. At first it was kind of sticking out at a weird angle and we thought maybe the bone going up the foot was broken too so I got an X-Ray. It was not broken so some buddy taping helped just great.

We had some sunny rain storms and the kids took advantage, sometimes even with Dad!

Monka gave Max one of the old graphing calculators my siblings or I used in school and he has had so much fun with it.
