Hello Summer!

Although the last day of school looked a little different, we were still very excited! Virtual learning was not my most favorite but these kids were troopers.

We celebrated with our longest family bike ride to date - 6 miles!

And then a little lap around the neighborhood with Harvey, since he couldn’t hang for the long ride but wanted to go anyway.

Exercising with the kids around got tricky sometimes over the summer. If I hadn’t gotten up to run by myself, sometimes we would get out the bikes and go around the neighborhood. We ran into Sharon one morning and she snapped this after we said hello.

Look at that little tongue!

Swimming at Gigi and Poppy’s pool is so fun! And also so convenient. We got in the habit of showering the kids outside, and drying Hazel’s hair always makes me laugh.

Hazel started to like splash pads, and we made our way around all the ones nearby.

Max was swinging and leaned back and said, “The world is upside down!” which is way more accurate than he knew.

Riding on Gigi and Poppy’s golf cart is so relaxing! Hazel and Harvey were lulled right to sleep.
