On Christmas Eve we went to Grammy's house with the Juergens clan. We actually went to that area a bit early so Tyler could return something at the Apple store in the mall. When he reported that the mall was not crowded at all and we realized we had a bit more time to kill, we all went in to say hello to the puppies. Our favorite thing at that mall! They had several puppies out and they were all SO cute. The kids each said which one they'd take home if they could. The one that Max had "chosen" happened to have an accident on the floor (something we'd never seen any time we had come before). Max declared he no longer wanted that one, because "it poops." I laughed and told him that ALL dogs do that! It was pretty funny.
At Grammy's we ate probably the best fajitas ever and visited and played games. Grammy gave the kids cute emoji suckers that Harvey decided to wear haha.
So fun to have sweet baby Myra in town! Millie and Max loved holding her and fought over who got to sit by her.
Harvey zonked out for a bit.
Later in the afternoon we went to Gigi and Poppy's house. We decorated a gingerbread house (and train!) and got to do it outside since it was such a nice day.
Max and Wes share a love for animals.
In the evening we got to open presents, but first, Christmas jammies!
We made a few attempts at different groupings but I just have our family's on my phone I guess.
Oh, and the girl cousins!
We were all spoiled by Gigi and Poppy! The kids had so much fun opening gifts and it was cute to see their different reactions. Max is very quiet and concentrated when he likes something, whereas Harvey held up a giant dump truck he got and screamed, "I GOT DIS!" so excitedly.
We put on a movie for the kids and the adults got to play games for a while which was so fun. Eventually it was time to get home and put the kids down. I snuck back in to check on them and found this sweet scene. Christmas is so magical!
Christmas morning! Everyone got one gift from Santa - Max got the Dragonstorm toy he has wanted for a long time.
Millie got a nail kit. Since when is she so old that she doesn't want toys anymore and a nail kit instead???
Harvey asked for cars but since we already have so many Santa brought him something for his cars to race on that doesn't take up a ton of floor space. He was thrilled, just took him a minute to wake up.
We went to Monka and Ampa's house to see the Andersen crew for a bit. We ate breakfast, opened presents, and played games.
Then it was back to Gigi and Poppy's for more Myra snuggles, games, and yummy food!
Gigi was so nice to let Millie give her a pedicure with her new nail kit.
Gigi and Poppy gave all us kids a Facebook Portal and we had fun playing with the face filters on it. Such a fun device!
It was a very merry Christmas indeed!
