Halloween 2019

This year for Halloween we had the itsy bitsy spider,

A cute black cat,

Charizard,

And Ash Ketchum. He called himself Ash Ketchup and actually kind of refused to wear his costume when it came down to it, but oh well! 

We’ll throw in some pre-Halloween festivities too. Garrett, McKenna, and Morgan were in town for the weekend, so we went over to say hi to them before going to the trunk or treat. The kids loved playing with Morgan!

We tried to get a picture of all of them and it was funny.

The trunk or treat was fun. Tyler was out of town and it’s hard to keep track of everyone trying to go in different directions by myself, but everyone had fun.

Thankfully Hazel is sweet and just along for the ride with whatever we do!

Harvey didn’t want to collect very much candy - once he got a couple of pieces he just really wanted to sit down and eat! Pretty funny. The big kids were hoping that they could ask for candy again at the trunks that Harvey skipped. Also pretty funny.

Halloween day turned out to be cold! We have been rained out the last couple of years but haven’t had a truly cold Halloween yet. Monka came over for chili before we went out trick or treating, which was fun. 

Monka left after going around the block with us, at which point Harvey, Hazel, and I hung back to pass out candy with Sharon while Tyler took Millie and Max around a bit longer.

Then we headed over to see Gigi and Poppy. They weren’t having many trick or treaters because of the cold, and the kids got to be super “helpful” and take a lot of their candy.

Last stop was to see Nana and Botz! It was a fun day.
