The kids participated in a sweet Veteran’s Day program at school and wanted to invite Botz and Nana to come. They sang several songs and nothin‘ gets me teary faster than kids singing about America! Hopefully Botz felt special.
The school had a little breakfast afterward, which was sweet and very crowded. We commandeered a corner of the library. Botz had brought a printout of a newspaper article about the ship he was on, which the kids thought was super cool.
Sweet Botz is always helping other people, even when it means using a smartphone camera (which he doesn’t do normally).
We love Botz and all of the people who have served our country!
