We held our “8 is great” meeting for Primary. Millie got to go last year since she has an early birthday but since I was partly in charge she got to tag along to this year’s too. She’s known a lot of these cute kids for most of her life! So fun to watch them all grow up together.

Harvey was begging for “tall socks.” I finally got him some and he was so excited! He said, “I’m gonna go outside and see if these socks help me be fast and strong and smart. And so... I love you! And I love Dad!”
Millie was trying to be tricky and run under a big swing and her back paid the price. Ouch.

Kenny came down for a couple days to work on their house in Beaumont, and Hazel just stared and stared at him. It was so funny. I’m guessing it was his glasses she was staring at!

I decided to severely cut back our bushes so I could trim them easier. They looked pretty sad for a little while.
I snapped this pic of the painting in our church foyer so I could remember the funny thing Max said about it one day as we were leaving church. And of course since I take so long to actually post I can’t remember! I think Max asked what Jesus is looking at, what’s on His finger. I can’t remember now but it made me laugh.

Millie loves to open the blinds and work at her desk. Sometimes it’s an art project, sometimes it’s legos, but you can pretty much bet that it’s going to be a big mess haha.
Harvey made a friend at the park and they were “it” together for a game of hide and seek.
Happy baby. Just crawling around stuffing rocks, wood chips, and leaves in her mouth the whole time we were there.
