Little things

I loved seeing these bluebonnets in someone's yard when I went for a run a few weeks ago. Spring is beautiful!

Millie and Max love playing the kid version of Ticket to Ride with Dad.

A picture to remember something funny. Millie doesn't love to read but she loves math, so when we're doing school work we have to do reading first, with math as the reward. I asked her to read a certain amount but said if she read quickly and without complaining we could do a little bit less than that. She whined, "But I CAN'T read without complaining!" I couldn't help but laugh.

Not sure what they were looking for under there.

Millie and Max have been really into climbing trees lately. Unfortunately good climbing trees are hard to find and they are a little short for our tree. They sure had fun trying though!

Tyler took Millie to her swim lesson and Millie was so excited.

Max got to scrub the walls after a little doodling.

He is so cute, sometimes I wish there were 3 of him! Buuuut most of the time one is sufficient.

Max was invited to his first birthday party! Millie came too and they both had a lot of fun. It was crazy hot but that never seems to bother kids very much!

Sick days

We had a good 10 days of sickness at our house at the beginning of March. Everyone got it except for Harvey! We stayed home and watched a lot of TV while we took turns having fevers and stuffiness and coughs. For some reason I also got hives and my lips swelled for a couple days. I'll spare you the picture of that but let's just say I lived up to my teenage nickname of Lippy. Tyler was so nice to work from home for a few days to help with Millie and Max (they got sick first) so I could keep Harvey away. Tyler eventually caught it and finally I did.

Max was pretty excited about a new Mickey shirt.

Harvey and I stayed in my room a lot and were bored a lot.

Lots of snuggles.

Harvey tried his walker for the first time during all that sick business. He loves it!

As Millie started to feel better she began to entertain herself in funny ways. She poked holes all over this box and then cut arm holes so she could wear it.

Being sick is exhausting and no fun!

Weekend adventures

From the first weekend in March. Playing catch up here!

Millie has been enjoying those recipe videos that are so popular lately.

King Harvey looking over his kingdom while his subjects eat zucchini bread and yogurt for breakfast.

Monka and Umpa came to Millies soccer game Saturday morning. They also joined us for donuts after Millie scored. From half field. It was hilarious. Millie asked if she could kick off and after her coach said she could she just booted it into the goal!

I put all the kids in the tub together. Definitely a one-time thing because I needed 6 arms for that endeavor!

My mom found this shirt I wore in the hospital after I was born!

Tyler informed me that he had proposed to me 8 years ago that day. So thankful he asked and that we got to build this life and family together.

Zoo day with friends

At the beginning of March we went to the zoo with some friends! It was a really fun day. We ended up buying a zoo membership (cheaper than buying tickets 3 times) so we will be going there more.

The sea lions are right by the entrance so we always see them. Millie said she could have stayed there to watch them swim all day.

We found Dory!

Max really wanted the real tiger to see his toy tiger.

Harvey was such a trooper the whole day!

Funny kids

Just some scenes that make me smile.

Millie and Max were having a good day together... Every time I saw them they were wearing something different and I had to document a couple of their ensembles!

Above: Harvey comforts his mother after a rough night. Below: they took turns being the tunnel for the cars to race under. Not sure how they come up with this stuff.

And, finally, a good case of static hair.

Little things

Watching Millie's soccer game

We may or may not have a deal with Millie that if she scores a goal we go get donuts after the game. She has scored 3 weeks in a row so apparently it is helping her be more engaged and motivated!

Had to get a picture of my 3 boys wearing bow ties to church. Max wasn't too happy about it at first.

Max asked me to "turn off the sun" one bright morning.

Harvey will suck on pretty much anything! Even the solly wrap if it's nearby.

Picture day for these cute Tigers. We did a practice round to keep them all together as we waited for their turn.

Finishing February

This cute boy loves cucumbers. I have to document all the food victories over here!

Millie loves to draw monsters lately, and I was totally impressed by these.

Practically edible!

I love any chance I have to see him in a beanie!

I showed up to the adult session of Stake Conference and found I'd forgotten to change out of my sandals. Pretty silly.

Climbing to new heights at gymnastics!

One of my favorite places to be.

Millie and Max held hands so sweetly walking through the outlet mall.

Millie is always bending or jumping over something!

Another back-rolls-before-a-bath pic. I can't help myself.
