We're trying to do better at FHE lately, so I thought I'd record some of what we're doing.
A couple weeks ago we set up our tent in the living room and talked about Mosiah 2-4, King Benjamin's speech. Millie loved it. At one point we talked about serving others and how it's important and can help us return to live with Heavenly Father after this life. Tyler asked, "Millie, where do you want to go after this life?" to which Millie replied, "Oh, I don't know, maybe to go get ice cream?" It was pretty hilarious. I hope she's understanding a little deeper than that. After Max went to bed, Millie and Daddy got to watch Brave from the tent.
We realized as we got close to the end of February that we wouldn't be able to go to the temple, so we decided to combine it with FHE and at least be outside the temple together. Max fell asleep on the way there but Millie loved having FHE in the car. When we got there and were walking around the grounds, Millie was whining and crying about not being able to go inside (and it was freezing), so we quickly took a picture and left. We stopped at the mall on our way home to browse the Apple store and get a treat from Cinnabon. Fun times!
